Ok...so i have room on my plan for a signature meal. We were not going to do the fantasmic package i was told that it probably wouldnt be necessary when we go, but then again, it would save us possible an hour waiting in line.

Anyway, we have a few choices narrowed down. What would you do?

Brown derby for Fantasmic (or leave it as is at the 50's primetime)

or

California Grill for wishes

or

Jiko

there are 4 in our group. Me and hubby, DD 21 and DS 10.

I also want to change my Spoodles ADR since they changed the menu so much im not that interested in it now...

I was thinking KONA...is this a good choice or am i missing a better place? (weve never been to disney and are staying at POR)

TYVM!!!!

Since you seem willing to jump around a bit, I would offer the following list of my personal favorites for your consideration:

Magic Kingdom - Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
Epcot - Future World - Coral Reef
Epcot - World Showcase - San Angel Inn
Disney MGM Studios - Hollywood Brown Derby
Animal Kingdom - TIE - Flame Tree Barbecue / Pizzafari *
In the Resorts - California Grill
Downtown Disney - House of Blues

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Enjoy.

* Counter service places because there is only one table service at the Animal Kingdom.

Out of the three, I would pick Jiko. We've been there in the past and DH has requested going back for our upcoming trip! Best Filet Mignon in WDW! :cool1:

We did Spoodles years back and really loved it and then went back a year or two ago and didn't like it at all. We won't be back to Spoodles again. :sad2:

I've heard good things about Kona and we were going to try it until we were walking up to it and I saw that it was just a Cafe setting - as in open to the lobby of the Polynesian. Don't get me wrong, people that have eaten there say that you don't even notice because you get wrapped up in the food, etc. - but it wasn't what I was expecting. That's how we found 'Ohana (right next door to Kona) and it is now one of my new favorites! :goodvibes

I think you probably can't go wrong with either Kona or 'Ohana!

HTH. :wave2:

I'd pick the Hollywood Brown Derby. Kona is good, but pales in comparison to Spoodles. We have been there four times since we got our annual passes last May, and have never had a bad time. It is our second favorite restaurant, losing to Beaches and Cream.
