I cannot make up my mind. I need internet stranger's opinions.
Please go into this with the assumption that all categories mentioned are available.
We are staying for 8 days, 5 day park tickets and we do want to go to Disney Springs at least 2 days.
We are big pool people as well.

THANKS!

For an 8-day stay, we would want the in-room laundry (pack fewer clothes) and full kitchen (breakfast simultaneously with getting ready). DH and I would also like the privacy of the master bedroom and the possibility of watching TV while the child sleeps. That means 1-bedroom for sure. And we love the ambiance of WL, not to mention riding the boat to MK!

Up until this summer, my family always stayed in a studio. We’re just wrapping up our first trip staying in a 1BR. First, we stayed 5 nights at Vero Beach. Then, we moved to OKW. We were impressed with the size of a VB 1BR but we were blown away with the size at OKW! It is so spacious! It was perfect for our family of 4.

Confused is this for next year? Or did you book cash?

None of these are going to be available at this point.

yes it is for this year. As noted in the first option - it’s already booked. And I asked for the assumption of availability in the vote. I am not delusional but I also know people are canceling - so I thought I would ask.

I think the villas' pool is one of the best. You made a good choice. Stick with it. Start looking at pictures and videos to get yourself excited. You can always go to a different place next time.

perfect - thanks!!

Another vote for Copper Creek. As others have said the Christmas decorations will be up and the lodge is really special at Christmas. Also the pool area for a 6 year old is really great, the big kids (mom & dad) will enjoy the pool also. I own at BW and I sure wish they would update our kiddie pool area to mirror the pool at WL.

In addition the CC location would be good for resort hopping in the MK area, boat over to Contemporary, get monorail to the other two resorts. Explore each to see the Christmas decorations, fun way to spend a couple of hours.

Don't forget to checkout Geyser Point, very nice views and fun place for an adult beverage and bite to eat. I hope you and your family have a magical trip to WDW. :tink:

I would vote for a split stay between CCV and RIV/BCV. Three nights at CCV and 4 at RIV/BCV. Then plan your park days around where you are staying to minimize travel time to the parks.

I would recommend your move day be a full park day where you won't want to take a mid-day break and swim or something like that, as you will be without a room from about 11am to 4/5/6 pm.

Ooooo I didn’t even consider this!!

I would keep the villa, although we own at Poly and will stay there is we keep our 10 day thanksgiving trip. Having the laundry option would win me over. We just don’t have the points to do 10 days in a one bedroom. We can do 10 days at Poly, and we have it booked. If you want a change of scenery, I’d pick Poly - I love the Hawaiian Christmas theme. I’d pick riviera for ease of transport because I love the skyline.

I would not do a split say during COVID, but that’s just me.
