I posted this over at the resort board, but I know this board gets a lot more traffic.
We of course are planning a trip to Disney this summer.
July would be the best time since that's in the middle of the summer and it would give us something to look forward to. However, I know it will be extremely hot and extremely crowded.
We would like to go as soon as my daughter gets out of school, which is May 24th. However, she has to be back on June 1st for her dance recital. So if we leave then it will be from Wednesday to Wednesday. I don't want to take off too much time from work. If we go Wednesday to Wednesday, I'll have to be at work on Thursday. This is also Memorial Day weekend. Going at this time, I can save about $100 and get the hopper tickets and the water park add on.
We could go on June 4th and stay until the 11th, but I really don't want to go on Gay week. (I have no problem with gay people, just think it will be crowded this week).
Anyway, so my big question is this: How hot and how bad are the crowds the Memorial Day weekend? Is it about the day the second week of June? Is it any hotter and crowded in July than it is in early June? Should I go Memorial week, June 11th or some time in late July?
Too many choices!!
Of course, if any codes come out, that will probably help me with my decisions.
