:flower3:Hi All
For those that know me a big hello:lovestruc. Its been a while since been on here.Well I am 40 this year and have decided (well as a birthday present from my boyfriend who hasnt been:worship:) to go back to the world. I dont want to spend a fortune but would like to do a week off site and a week on. As i have never been end september (my bday on the 24th sept) into october, would like to experience halloween celebration. Anyone know when halloween celebrations start?
Can anyone recommend a suite? I hv heard that blue heron cypress pointe and vistana villages are good but as we are not driving would need somewhere that has transfers to the parks though as long as we are near DTD we could walk there and get the disney buses. Looking at these times due to free dining when staying onsite. Also flights. I have 6000 miles with VA but is it best to book now or nearer the time.In the past I have booked about 4 months before, but have always gone november or mid december. What sort of prices am I going to expect going direct to MCO?
A lot has probably changed since I last went :confused3 and would appreciate some advice on websites with the best hotel prices etc as will be booking all seperate not as a package (apart from probably the disneyworld hotel and free dining.:simba::goofy::figment::stitch2::tigger::eeyore::eeyore::eeyore:

I'd go for the sept/oct trip.

We visited last year oct 1st-15th and it was an amazing trip, we'd definitely re-visit during that time. MNSSH start mid september so you'd definitely catch the festivities!

Hello there.
Nov/Dec would be too hit and miss for temps for me if I had choice Sept/Oct, perfect time of year to go. Halloween events & Food & Wine festival.

I would compare staying onsite for the whole holiday to part offsite. The free dining deals onsite are very good epecially if you like OKW or SSR. The way the $v£ is going the onsite deals look even better if paying in £'s. (Can't believe I just said that being a big offsite fan:rotfl:)

When you have decided your dates let me know them and I will have a look around for best price for LBV area. Found good deal for someone on here a few days ago at Blue Heron, http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2403508

Haloween nights seem to go from early Sept thru end of Oct now.

Flights are hardest thing just now, not many deals around. This August are about double previous years, out of season you might get something better.

have been both times but me for I prefer Sept/Oct time. You can cover all the halloween events, plus there is food and wine at Epcot, and the weather is so lovely!!

Thanks guys. As I am the big 4 zero end september and not done halloween before this sounds a good idea I think. Would do 2 weeks on but need transport to universal etc and would like to eat at other places but disney as done 2 weeks disney onsite the last 3 times I have been. Flights lookin around 1300 with VA for the 3 of us-with m+m. cant pay till end april so will hv to wait:scared1:

Sept/oct is a great time to go, we have done it 4 times, halloween party is really good fun too!
