I've never eaten at these restaurants before so I don't know what their specialties are or what is horrible. Could you guys help me? We are on the dining plan so I need appt., entree, and dessert.

Alfredo's at Epcot..................

50's Primetime ..................

Mama Melrose ...................

We haven't eaten dinner at Chef's de France for about 10 years.........we always do lunch. So what is good for dinner?

Chef's de France .....................

Thanks in advance for your opinions. :wave2:

The fettucine at Alfredos is awesome. Very huge plate at dinner, but I can't leave the World without having it. :banana:

Everyone in our house has a different favorite at Alfredo's so...

DS11 = Lasagne & Chocolate Mousse
DS8 = Fettucini Alfredo (appetizer portion)
DH = Lasagne
Me = Tagliolini w/Shrimp in Vodka Sauce & no trip is complete without a Belini or two. (Veal Piccata runner-up)

This is one of our must-do's. Mangia!

Will they let my son substitute the Fettucini Alfredo instead of the Penne (which I think has the Alfredo sauce on it) on the child's menu. There is only a .50 cent difference. Or.........will they just let us order the child's menu Penne and substitute the noodle part? Hope so.......my son loves fettucini noodles but is so-so on Penne noodles. :rolleyes:

What are Belinis? Is it dessert? I can't find any dessert menus for Alfredo's........why is that? Can someone point me in the right direction?

I think taking planning to this level tends to ruin part of the dining experience. It's always led to disappointment in my experience. Just order what you want based on how you are feeling at the time.

For instance I felt compelled to order the cheddar cheese soup based on recommendations here. I ended up hating it.

Ummm, when I go to my local "Moretti's" restaurant, I ask my friends what is good there. I have never "ruined" a dining experience yet. To the contrary, I think it helped me get a great meal.

Oh, and I love the cheddar cheese soup so much, I got the recipe and make it at home. :)

OK guys. I just cancelled Tony's..........two reasons. One, we already have two Italian restaurants planned and two, the others get better reviews than Tony's.

I switched to Liberty Tree Tavern since we've been there and really liked it.

MK really needs another sit down place. Cindy's and CP are character meals, the Plaza is good, but not really a "dinner" place, if you know what I mean. That leaves Liberty TT and Tony's. And Tony's, even though I know some like it, really gets hammered with bad reviews.

If we had more time that day, I would schedule a dinner at a nearby resort, but we can't do it.

So what about the others....................... :)
