Hi Everyone! I am writing for advice.

I'm taking the family to DLR for the first time July 8-13 or 14. I have been with friends several times. Carsland will have just opened (probably), and so I have decided to stay onsite (in order to use all MM in anticipation that DCA will have them also), and I'm overwhelmed with the choices. I'm hoping those of you with experience staying in these rooms can shed some light. :wizard:

OK, so for round about the same price, would you say:

Stay 6 nights in a PPH theme park view room?
Stay 5 nights in a DLH standard view room?
Stay 5 nights in a PPH concierge room?

Keep in mind we are a family of 5 with 3 under 6. The concierge appeals to me for unlimited milk and water and uncrustables (I was just saying to DH that we're going to need a $300 budget :scared1: just to get DD her milk...it's all she'll drink), plus a lounge we can hang in if say DD is napping. The boys and I can either go to the park or watch a movie in the lounge, etc. Does that sound feasible? Is the lounge welcoming to kids hanging out, watching tv popcorn::, and playing their computer games (with an adult there of course)?

The concierge breakfast hours do not sound good to me though, and I think we would not be able to utilize it much since it doesn't open until 6:30 and the parks will most likely be open at 7. The kids are early risers, and we will use our MM. We will be returning almost every day for naps or early bedtime. So, I think we will enjoy the afternoon snacks and some of evening foods.

The design and newness of the DLH new rooms and pools appeals to me, but I do think the pools are a little much for my little ones. I think there is a kiddie pool at PPH, and the slide is much more doable for my little guys at PPH because of the fact that it doesn't dump into a huge pool. pirate:

And then there is always the benefit of an extra day. However, with 3 little ones, we may be MORE than ready to leave after 5 nights. :dance3:

Any experience/advice you care to share about my thoughts? Tips? What would you do if you were me?

Thanks! Heather :cheer2:

Actually, I would go with a view room at the PPH, especially if you can catch a partial view of World of Color. Chances are your kids won't be awake for WOC, but you could watch it from your room, with music piped through your t.v., without waiting in line/fighting the crowds with exhausted kids.

Save DLH for when your kids are older, and once your kids are grown, head for the GCH.

The view room at PPH was amazing last week!! I would definately go for that!

We also had Concierge... and I think we'd pass on it next time. They open at 6:30 and close at 8... not too appealing for our schedules!

I would definitely go for the PPH theme park view for 6 nights. The view is amazing!!

I forgot to write that if we did concierge for 5 nights, we'd keep it a view room. I think it's the only way to go at PPH with little ones for the exact reasons mentioned. I seriously doubt I'll get the three of them to stand for as long as it would take to get a good view of WOC. (Well, I could, but it doesn't sound like fun! ;) )

I think DLH would be good for a future trip when they're stronger swimmers and a little older. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the help!
