My wedding is now less then a month away and I can not decide on a couple of things.

First of all should I have a cake table? I am having the mini cakes where everyone gets their own. If I have a cake table people will get to look at them longer but I will not be there when they first walk in and see them. Then I kinda think it will be a cute surprise for everyone to see the cakes come out when its time for the cake. But I am having lighted sorbet so their already is a kind of surprise while they eat. Anyone have any input?

I also can not decide weather to cover the table at the front of the wedding pavilion or not. I am having a aisle runner and swag down the aisle. Will it look weird just a wood table or will it look like to much to have it covered?

Thanks to anyone who has an opinion!!!

I keep going back and forth with whether or not I am going to cover the "altar" at the wedding pavilion. I think I'm going to end up making a runner for it because it is really plain. Maybe just a few candles? Or a simple floral arrangement?

I like the idea of having the mini cakes laid out on a table, if they do it creatively, like a pyramid of mini-cakes? The sorbet is a really nice surprise already, but if you want two surprises, i say go for it!

We didn't cover the alter table but had a table runner on it with two vases of flowers and our sand ceremony. I thought it worked out pretty well and look lovely. I didn't want to cover the table entirely because it really does match the rest of the pavilion's decor.

I would say to cover the table in the WP especially if you are doing the swag down the aisle.

I would have the tiny cakes on a cake table. I think that would look dramatic and amazing. Hope that helps :goodvibes

i am having a cake table. but i do not enjoy when they crumple the table cloths on the cake table. i don't know why they do that. so, yes on the table, no on the crumpling!
