So we will have a car this trip and are staying at CBR. We are on the dining plan, but will be paying some out of pocket meals. That being said, we are trying to find some new things to try since this will be the last trip for a couple of years. We wanted to try some breakfasts, and now I'm noticing we have SO many booked. Which ones should I keep (2-3). The ones in *'s are ones we've never tried and I would love opinions.

Day 1: check in and pool day. Dinner at *Shutters*

Day 2: Epcot day (Hanson playing eat to the beat). Breakfast at *Captain's Grille*, dinner Teppan Edo

Day 3: Magic Kingdom Day. Breakfast at *'Ohana* (we've done dinner), dinner at 1900 Park Fare

Day 4: MVMCP day, lunch at CRT (we have extra ticket..so could use it) or at *Grand Floridian Cafe*

Day 5: Animal Kingdom day. No table service scheduled. Epcot in the evening.

Day 6: Magic Kingdom day. Breakfast at *Crystal Palace* (want empty park pics..is this worth it??), dinner at *Narcoossee's*

Day 7: Hollywood studios afternoon/evening. Dinner *Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose*

Day 8: Magic Kingdom day. Be our Guest for lunch. Dinner at *Raglan Road* in DTD

Day 9: Epcot World showcase day (F&W over). Breakfast at *Akershus*, dinner at *Captain's Grille*

Day 10: Breakfast at *1900 Park Fare* (have only done dinner here), Dinner at *Be Our Guest* (pretty sure I will drop this one...just doesn't appeal to us and would love other resort restaurant suggestions)...heading to airport late at night for 11pm flight.

Keep the Ohana breakfast! It's a favorite of ours.
We're going back again this summer.

My family (mom & grandma especially) loves CP, but it's just average buffet food.
The photo opportunity is nice, but it's just an ok option to me.

Narcoossee's is really, really great meal, in a lovely atmosphere with nice service. If you plan the timing right, you can go outside on their deck to watch Wishes, which is very special.

Raglan Road has quickly become one of my top picks! The food is fantastic , especially the desserts. It is definitely a very loud restaurant, with bands playing and dancers "stomping". Some people think it's too loud for mealtime, but as long as you are ok with that, the meal is truly great!

On your AK day, you should try Flame Tree Bbq as a counter service meal. It's delicious and a great value, with beautiful seating areas.

My main comment is that they let all the guests with prepark ADRs, so everyone heading to BOG, CRT and CP, in at once now. Your photos will be emptier than mid-day but there will be plenty of people around.

Otherwise, it looks good. Perhaps one of the restaurants at AKL for your last night? All three of them are excellent.

Day 1 - never ate at Shutters as it used to get horrible reviews and the menu did not appeal. Looks like there have been major changes in the last year or so; I'd say to go for it.
Day 2 - we really enjoyed breakfast at Captain's Grille, although there is no particular 'Disney' theming for the little ones.
Day 3 - haven't had breakfast at Ohana but don't see how you can miss it with 2 DDs
Day 4 - I'd say to keep CRT, again based on the ages of your DDs; they're at a great age to enjoy it.
Day 5 - n/a
Day 6 - breakfast at CP is awesome both for the characters and for the food. DO NOT miss the breakfast lasagna (which contains no lasagna but lots of yummy goodness). And Narcoossee's has wonderful food as well.
Day 7 - I'm very 'meh' about Mama Melrose. I don't know that the F! package is really worth it. If you don't mind a bit longer wait for seating at F!, you might consider moving the Captain's Grille dinner to this space instead. It's an easy boat ride from HS over and back to the resort.
Day 8 - Also have not eaten at Raglan Road but the menu looks good and the entertainment should be fun. An alternative, especially if you are looking for one out-of-pocket, would be to take the boat from MK to Ft. Wilderness and have dinner at Trails End. Afterwards you can take the boat back and then go on to DTD if that's a priority, or you can stay longer at Ft. Wilderness, maybe do the wagon ride, Chip-n-Dale singalong & s'mores, etc?
Day 9 - keep the Aksershus breakfast but if you moved Captain's Grille up to day 7 then Epcot has the widest range of TS to substitute for this time slot. Biergarten? San Angel? Marrakesh? Garden Grill?
Day 10 - yes, the 1900 PF breakfast is good, and a fun thing for your last day. For dinner, I don't know if you even want to schedule a TS. If you're like us we're always trying to cram in one more thing, or by a souvenir or snacks for our carry-on luggage, or something. An ADR time is just an extra stressor. If you really want TS, how about something more casual like The Plaza; finish off your trip with big ice cream sundaes or a banana split?

Josh from EasyWDW had a dinner review of Shutters recently (http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorize...r-stuff-a-walk-around-hollywood-studios-5815/), and it was favorable. Since you're staying at CBR, I'd check it out.

I'll just comment on the places I've been: I had breakfast at Captain's Grille last August, and it was tasty. The main reason I chose it was because we were staying at Beach Club, so it was convenient -- not sure I'd want to rush over there early in the morning though before heading to Epcot. Your kids may enjoy Cape May breakfast though, the characters are really cute, and I like the food there. I like the breakfast at Crystal Palace, but I've heard others comment that the empty park pics aren't as empty now, so that may be something to consider. Dinner at Mama Melrose and at Raglan Road are both good - I enjoy the food at both places (especially the penne alla vodka at MM!), and the entertainment at RR is fun. I also like dinner at BoG, but if other places are more appealing, go for them.

I'd keep the BOG dinner. We had lunch there earlier in the week, but dinner felt like a very different experience (and we didn't care about seeing the Beast at all). I also wasn't very psyched about the dinner menu, but both DH and I liked the steak and pommes frites. I actually thought it was one of our better meals of the trip (out of 11 different table service restraints).

Day 1: I would keep Shutters. WE really enjoyed our meal there
Day 2:I would skip Captains Grill. Not because of the food, but I would not want th stop befor a park
Day 3: Love both choices here
Day 4: I would keep lunch at CRT
Day 6: Breakfast at CP is okay, not my favorites, What time is your ADR? Love Narcooses
Day 7: The F dinner package is a good value on teh DDP, and I like MM, but if I was going to get rid of one of the credits, this one I would consider
Day 8:BOG lunch is nice, and I like RR. If I was going to stay at teh resort one noght, this would be the night. I woudl have CS and skip RR
Day 9: I would keep Akershus, and have CS dinner. Cancel Captain's Grill. Pleant of food to choose from in Epcot
Day 10: If I was going to cancel one I would cancel 1900 PF and keep BOG dinner. It is not my favorite meal, I think it is overrated, but it is the one place the girls can meet the Beast.

The only thing that jumps out at me are the two meals at Capt. Grille. It's good (not great), but I personally wouldn't do breakfast AND dinner there. I would keep the breakfast unless you would rather get to the parks earlier. If you want to stay in the Boardwalk area, you may want to consider Trattoria al Forno instead of Capt. Grille for dinner. We just ate there last week and really like it!

Definitely keep Raglan Road!! You can also switch the BOG to lunch and use a CS instead of a TS.
