Help me decide- Italy TS or Ohana?

so hubby and I going alone for the first time since I did the WDWCP about 10 years ago. we are only there 5 days/4 nights and are on the dining plan (Aug 19-23).

I have the following ADR's already made, we only have 4, since we are there 4 nights:

LTT dinner
Crystal Palace breakfast
Chefs de France dinner
Sci Fi dinner (was planning to just share 1 TS credit)
Italy dinner
(again, planning to share just 1 TS credit, since i can make the
fettucini appetizer my meal)

I thought Italy would be fun more for the atmosphere than the food. We like italian okay, but isn't our favorite or anything. But I also hear such good things about Ohana and have always wanted to try it. We are both big meat eaters. I know we would enjoy the food there more and I could schedule a late dinner to coincide with WISHES that might be romantic. If I do Ohana, we will have to pay OOP to share a quick dinner at Sci Fi, but that's no biggie.

so thoughts- what are your experiences with Italy- did you enjoy it? I am leaning towards dropping it and doing Ohana instead. any opinions on either place is appreciated.

Please please please do Ohana!! If you eat there around Wishes, they do play the music inside the restaurant and dim the lights for everyone to see. It will be a romantic meal, and a great experience!!

Itlay was AWESOME (wonderful food). 'Ohana is our favorite for the shrimp! (messy but worth every savory second!) There is much more food at 'Ohana of course. Both are great choices! The atmosphere at 'Ohana is much more relaxed. Good luck!

I really did not care for Alfredo's the first ( and last ) time I have been there. Maybe it was an off day but the service was lacking and neither one of us enjoyed our meal. We also weren't thrilled with the atmosphere either. I was practically sitiing in the mans lap that was seated next to us. And forget it if y ou have to get up and use the restroom..... we were crammed in like sardines. It just wasn't my idea of romantic. I am glad to have tried it but we will not be returning. I have not been to Ohana's yet but I think it sounds much more fun. To add some romance just go down to the beach afterwards and cuddle while watching wishes.

Of those 2 absolutely without question - Ohana.

Plenty of other wonderful choices without going there. Yuck!
