Help me decide fantasy vs. magic

we had main seating on our first cruise and did not like it, we will definitely be doing second seating on our next one.

Thanks everyone! We ended up booking the Fantasy last night! We decided on the fantasy based on feedback but also it leaves one day earlier and gives us an extra day in Orlando when the cruise is done. We are thinking about adding either a day at WDW or maybe even Seaworld after the cruise. We have an inside cabin and are hoping that the main dining time opens up...so excited!

As so many posters have pointed out, each ship has it special points. Basically this requires lots of cruises(perfect reason to take many DCL cruises) to see which of the 4 vessels you will like best

Which ever vessel you picked, you will have a great cruise......enjoy!

You can not go wrong with either. My family prefers sea days over port days. For me, that would be the deciding factor. We have only sailed Dream and Wonder. Fantasy is booked for September 2016.

We like the Fantasy better, BUT since you will be a 1st time cruiser, I suggest the Magic. I never recommend starting "at the top".

Agree! We started with the Fantasy and it spoiled us!

I think the show in Annimation Restaurant on the Fantasy is so great, and would pick the Fantasy just for that!

Be sure to waitlist for main seating, and if you do not get it before, go to change it on embarkation day!

I pick the itinerary, not the ship, for my own sailings. However, I enjoy both East and Western Caribbean and actually have both booked. I have Western on Magic, 5 nights, and Eastern on Fantasy, 7 nights.

The same show is on the magic. The only ship without it is the wonder.
