I haven't stayed at BWPPI yet, mainly because we feel we get more of what we need for our family at PVI. Some quick points that influence our preference:
--PVI does a returning guest discount, as well as a military discount. It knocks about $20 off our room, and retired military (and military spouse) fits their requirements. BWPPI requires current military orders last I checked.
--PVI offers a true suite, with a separate sleeping area. BWPPI's "mini-suite" has a mini-wall separating the areas. My tween can't (won't!) sleep if she knows we are still up, so we need that separated sleeping area, so DH and I can stay up and read before bed without bothering DD.
--PVI is recently renovated. New carpet, new window dressings, new couches, new counters, new tiles in the tubs, etc.
--AC units are placed high, which keeps DD from deciding that she's "too cold" at night and turning the heat to 80º (it's happened more than once with her, gggrrr!)
--Another totally silly reason: BWPPI has a crosswalk light over their driveway area. DD thinks she must pay attention to the crosswalk light, and won't go if it doesn't say walk... PVI just has the crosswalk to get across the street
Here's some pictures of my rooms at 2 of our last 3 stays... Apparently when my computer died last month I lost my room pictures from my January trip of the basic 2-queen room.
One bedroom suite, pictures from last week (6/29/15, I think) :
Dining room/kitchen/outer vanity area:

Bathroom w/ another vanity!

Foot of one of the beds, plus the desk:

Bedroom has carpet. Living room, dining room, and bathrooms are tiled.
Jacuzzi Suite (note, this was pre-upgrades) :
Bed, edge of tub, and a little of the dining area and dressing area

Jacuzzi tub:

Desk area:

King size bed:

PVI is, by far, our go-to place now
