Exactly. Our first trip in 2006 we stayed offsite and didn't have a GPS and we made it everywhere we wanted to go and never got turned around. There are signs EVERYWHERE, and if you miss a turn, it's very easy to get back to where you need to go.
Even when we've stayed onsite, we've had a car and driven quite a bit for early morning ADRs or just when we've wanted the flexibility of having a car.
I usually stay at POP. Driving is easy and faster with the exception of MK. At MK the bus takes you to the far side of the lake, while to park you have to deal with ferry or monorail. Last time we split up, bus passengers got back 20 minutes faster than car passengers
