Help me choose

Trying to pick a nice dinner for our rest day on our March trip. We will be staying at the Grand Floridian but we also love AKL. So help me choose between these three for our nice, relaxing rest day dinner.

The groups is myself, husband and our 15 year old daughter. She is happy if she can get grilled chicken or a nice lean cut of steak.

You will do well at any of the three....

Jiko offers flavors that you dont find very often in a casually elegant setting. I love the Taste of Africa App and the Maize Crusted Halibut over vegetables with a tomato butter sauce. Might be one of my favorite meals....anywhere. There is usually only one steak entree here and it's the Filet with Mac and Cheese in a red wine sauce.

Narcoossee's offers a casually elegant beach side setting with killer views. I dont have a favorite dish at Narcoossee's, but it's been wonderful each time I've been there. The steak was incredible and the au gratin potatoes are something we still talk about

Citrico's is again casually elegant with a modern classic flair and the view can be great, but you can also have a view of the GF pool. I love the Crab Gateau and the Short Ribs over polenta. Absolutely terrific food with great service. Every time I dine there, I wonder why we dont go more often.

I vote for Narcoossee's. Great food and views plus a spot where 2 of you can leave the 15 year old at the table for a few minutes while 2 of you go outside to "chat"...or send the 15 year old outside while y'all chat over coffee.

I am a huge Citrico's fan. Thre food and service are just incredible. We are eating at Jiko for the first time in a few weeks.

Wow, tough choices. All three are great. Our 15 year old loved Narcooses but didn't care for Jiko. You're staying at the GF, I would choose Narcooses for the convenience and atmosphere.

I'm not a fan of Citrico's. I thought it was a nice restaurant, but the menu did not wow me. I'd prefer Narcoossee's or Jiko.

They are all wonderful but after a relaxing day a great dinner, beautiful view and watching Wishes from the deck seems like the perfect end!

We ended up booking Jiko. My husband loves AKL and thought it would be nice to go back and visit.

Although I voted for Citrico's, I'd be pretty happy at the other two choices as well. I will say that I'm not a big fan of Jiko because I just don't care for the flavors of their food, but wouldn't avoid it either because of the great setting and the wine list.

We love the Grand Floridian and both Narcoossee's and Citricos. I think forhte two of us, Narcoossee's edges out Citricos. Either way, you can't go wrong! Hope you have a great time!!
