Help me choose which Halloween Event!

We are coming to California in October for the first time and want to do some of the Halloween events......but need help choosing!!
We are staying at Disneyland and are considering Knotts, Six Flags and Universal.......how do they compare, which is the scariest, which is the best done?

Universal is my favorite. I grew up in So Cal and started going to these events as a teen. Knott's is Scary, but Universal is better. The mazes are more realistic, the actors are super scary and the whole experience is more immersive. Six Flags doesn't compare at all to me. I highly recommend getting the VIP front of line passes for Universal though. It is crowded and if you want to see everything it's the best way.

These events get very crowded as October goes on. Go as early as possible. I have not been to six flags halloween event, but have not heard very good things. Comparing Knotts and Universal, both were fun. The mazes at Universal are better, but the lines are crazy. There are more monsters walking around Knotts, making it a fun experience even while not in a maze. I would recommend Knott's as it is much closer to Disney. If you go on a weeknight, it can take you 2 hours to get from Disneyland to Universal.

Agree, longistics wise, Knotts is closer.

I have only been to Knotts. So I can't say what's better
