Help me choose resort options!

Backstory: I'm going with 3 kids on my own for 4 nights, then dh will be joining us for the last 4 nights. Booking on DVC points.

I've narrowed it down to:
4 nights poly studio, 4 nights kidani 1 br

8 nights kidani 1 br

4 nights poly studio, 4 nights blt 1 br

I'm torn because with 3 kids I'd like the ease of transport of the poly, but also the idea of packing up and moving also seems daunting.

I would stay at the Poly while on my own and move to the Kidani one bedroom when DH arrives. Of course, I don't mind packing up to move. I find that I keep organized when I am moving, so it is easy. Different people have different strategies for organizing with a mid trip move in mind.

some people pack two suitcases, one for each part of the trip. Suitcase A has the Poly stuff and suitcase B has the Kidani stuff.

I like to use labelled packing cubes and keep almost everything in those for the entire trip. Packing is simply a matter of throwing a few toiletries and everyday items along with the cubes into the suitcases. Very easy.

The advantage of the monorail over a bus for a single parent is huge, IMO. Plus, the Poly is a wonderful resort that you and the children will love! It is worth a little bit of moving hassle.

This would be my suggestion as well. The Poly is amazing and you can't beat being on the monorail for MK and just a short walk to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail. The Poly is also convenient to a variety of great dining options at the GF and CR.

Hi Shayna! I would choose the Poly /BLT option.
Packing and moving won't be hard. Pack for the two parts of your trip separately. Have the suitcase(s) for the Poly part of the trip and then the BLT part of the trip. This way you only unpack the Poly suitcase there and have to repack it. Disney will move your luggage for you it won't be painful. On check out day, call bell services they will come with a cart and will take your bags. Make sure you keep the things with you you'll need for the day. Then head on over to BLT and check in. It will be fun.

I love the Poly with littles and BLT will be awesome for its closeness to MK!
