Help me choose! Rental Car?

Can't decide about our car deliemma! Been planning EA for months and that is our usual, with National rental car BUT got a good deal on a convertible for and extra $50.00 total we can get that.

We are just 2, but both sisters, who don't travel light, so luggage will be pretty interesting in the convertible. Also, Is the convertible even useable in August? What if something total great is on the EA when I get there and kick myself. BUT, the EA could be empty too when we get there. OR we could have some great nites or days when we could put the top down. And I really am not crazy about crysler's, is there any other convertible other than the sebring National uses?

Im also not a big fan of Chrystlers, but you should be ok as far as luggage goes (You can use the TINY trunk and the back seat). Im thinking that National uses Chrystler Sebring Convertables, but they might have some new Ford Mustang Convertables. As far as "incretable" cars on EA, I would be suprised to see anything better then a convertable. Im still waiting to see a Lux!!

Went in March for a 3 day vacation including lots of golf, just 2 of us but we were able to get 2 bags plus 2 golf bags in a covertible with no real problems. Did have to use the back seat for 1 of the golf bags but it worked. Weather was great but it seemed every time we were driving somewhere it rained. Oh well, such is the luck sometimes!

oldkeywestfan, what type of car did you get, was it a sebring? How many miles? Fairly new?

Had a sebring through budget. around 10k miles, unlimited miles, i think it was an '04 but not sure. no problems at all.
