Hoping to book a late-April trip in the next few weeks by renting points. I just cannot decide which resort!! I really enjoy nice hotels ... We have two young kids (will be 4 and just -turning 1 at time of trip). MK is our very favorite park but we are planning to just spend one day in each park. I have it narrowed down to a VWL studio, AKV studio or BWV studio all standard views. Based on that info, what would you recommend? Thanks!

Are the kids old enough to make a difference where you stay? How much time at the resort/room versus the parks. Where will you eat? Any pool time?

Why did you pick those 3 resorts?

I chose these mostly for budgets and pools. We will likely spend two half-days at the resort and the rest of our time at the parks. Would like ts and qs dining options. My 4 year old definitely matters when it comes to theming, pools. Thanks!

BWV standard view and AKV value view are dramatically unlikely to be available unless you find someone who already has them reserved but for rent. AKV standard is the most likely available and VWL does not have standard (all studios cost the same). I wouldn't do AKV for that trip due to location and children's ages but if being away from the action is acceptable, I'd also consider OKW or SSR. Given the likely choices and your locations I'd put BWV pool/garden first, VWL then AKV standard (not value).

As Dean said, its unlikely any of those rooms would be available for this April, they book very quickly - there MIGHT be some BWV standard view left. For a bargain DVC rental, look to staying at OKW - it isn't as convenient as some of the rooms you are looking at, but the points per night can't be beat and it should still be available for that close. (Yes, April is right around the corner in DVC world).

I think the pool at Kidani would be the best of all those for the 4 yo because of the splash area. You could book at Jambo and still have access to the Kidani pool since it's all considered one resort. And at Jambo you will have Mara (for QS) and Boma and Jiko for TS. Both the Jambo pool and the Kidani have zero entry access too. As adults Jambo is probably our favorite pool out of the FL DVCs.

But always love VWL however no zero entry so it might be more difficult for the young one. Close access to pony rides at FW though and to see the horses they use around WDW. BWV pool also doesn't have a zero entry.
