here is a list of desserts at Kona Cafe from intercots website:

Chocolate Macadamia Nut Tart
Apple Brown Betty
Caramel-Banana Crème Brûlée
White Chocolate Cheesecake
Kiddie Kone
Kilauea Torte
Passion Fruit Orange Guava Mousse

Sounds yummy to me...we will be in WDW in 6 days!!!:woohoo:

I will be torn between White Choc Cheesecake, the Banana Creme Brulee, or the Choc Macadamia Nut Tart... H E L P!!!!! Can anyone give me dessert input on what to choose based on their experiences I have never had any of them.

I would pick the Chocolate Macadamia Nut Tart. It's delicious. Of course, the White Chocolate Cheesecake is also delicious. It's hard to choose between milk and white chocolate. Of course, anything with chocolate in it is usually good. I am a Creme Brulee lover, but didn't care for the Banana.

Chocolate Macadamia Nut Tart

The pie, the pie, GET THE PIE!:lmao: :rotfl:
If you are inclined, Debi is an awesome CM. We will wait for her section. Enjoy:goodvibes

I love the Kilauea Tort. It's a sort of chocolate cake filled with a hot fudge like chocolate sauce.

I am a HUGE creme brulee fan but NOT of bananas. I had the chocolate macademia nut torte, which was awesome. My DH had the creme brulee -he's as into creme as me, and a banana lover- but he didn't like it...he said the bananas weren't ripe...

I have a solution for your problem...
When we went last February, we ordered the bread pudding at Kona from Ohana. The bread pudding is a menu item not of Kona but of Ohana, the cast there were more than happy to make accommodations:yay: .
As for the review... Excellent, actually sooo good we had to take the recipe home with us!!!

I vote for the Caramel-Banana Creme Brulee (yummy but sweet!) And if you both choose something else, just say it's for the baby and eat it for me!! How's that for an idea? I'm so jealous....:lmao:

No votes for the White Chocolate Cheesecake yet?:confused3
Only 5 more days before I leave.... any cheesecake lover's want to comment on Kona's?

Thanks all, so far the Macadamia Tart is winning.

You do realize that restaurants change their menus and that includes dessert? Just wondering - I see this all the time, do folks actually decide "what" they are going to eat on a particular night months ahead of a planned trip? Maybe call the restaurant a week or so before your trip and ask them to make you a dessert sampler?

Opposite experience here. I love creme brulee. Never had it with bananas so wasn't sure if I would like it or not - it was wonderful!

Get the tort!

When you get to the middle the fudge comes out and it's delicious. I had it ala mode in February. I took a picture, but Photobucket is not available right now. :confused3

Yet another vote for the creme brulee! It is one of the best things I have ever tasted, and I'm not a huge banana fan!

Hey Boss, maybe we just crave a certain dessert. Maybe you should show a little more class when you post.

Thanks for trying!

Con't believe I couldn't find a pic of the Banan Creme Brulee, which is MY absolute fave, will go there just for it. DH and cousin like the brownie and the Tort, both beautiful and tastie!

Chocolate Macadamia Nut Tart... I still dream about it. Just need to remember to save some room to enjoy it.
