I booked our ADRs months ago for free dining. They are set and since we leave in a week I'm sure I can't change them, so please help me feel the love for these places! All but 2 are new to us.

All are for dinners. Crystal Palace, Tony's Town Square, Le Cellier, Chef Mickeys (we did breakfast here a couple of years ago and this was our children's request), Boma, Ohana, Hoop de Doo (went last year, kids loved it) and Prime Time (kids love meatloaf, go figure).

I know everyone's taste vary, but I'm starting to panic reading the reviews.

Need some :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

thanks!

I will be sure to post review when I come back!

Don't panic. Here is my take on it: you're on vacation. You don't have to cook anything, or do any dishes. In my mind, even a bad meal out beats a good one that I had to cook myself!

You've been to some of these places before, so who cares about the reviews? Just go and have fun.

Since I have been reading these boards I'm convinced I have the weirdest taste. Most of the places that get rave reviews I've not been wild over like everyone else seems to be. Places I really like others are complaining about. Take the reviews with a grain of salt you need to try restaurants for yourself.

remember that we are all different and I loved the places you listed......I havent done Boma or kona....but the rest are pretty good ........we are going in less then a week and we only were able to get one reservation for the night of the Halloween party....so we will still have fun and enjoy ourselves.....Dont forget some lime green ribbon or something on your fanny pack or back pack or somewhere.......I will be wearing mine

I always book dinners as we are not big breakfast eaters. You have some of our favorites on your list :thumbsup2 We LOVE 'Ohana, Le Cellier, & Boma. We really like Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace & Prime Time.

We haven't eaten at Tony's or HDDR.

I think you're going to be fine- my ADRs are pretty similar for our Feb. trip.

Crystal Palace - I loved the atmosphere and thought the food was above average for a buffet meal. We're not into characters, so it's not a must-do for us. For us, our 1 TS credit is better spent in sit-down restaurant with a menu.

Le Cellier - LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT! This was the best meal we had that week

Boma - We didn't eat in Boma, but we did have AKL room service and had some of the same things that are served at Boma. It was WONDERFUL! I usually do not not eat red meat, but I loved the prime rib they served.

Ohana - I wasn't a huge fan of the meats they served, but the potatos and desert more than made up for it. The next time I am there, I am going to ask them for only the potatos and desert. (I'm a carb/sugar person, can you tell?)

What is the lime green ribbon for? Did I miss something???:confused3

I have used the unofficial guide to read up on the restaurants...i've found that book to be pretty accurate and in line with our tastes.

Still, I say it's been than cooking!

thanks everyone for the  , and a special thanks for those that gave me :goodvibes :goodvibes by telling me their experiencew with those restaurants. All the new negative Ohana/Le Cellier/Chef Mickey/Boma stuff was freaking me out!
I agree about the no cooking thing, but we are a family likes likes our food, so it's a big part of the day for us. Hopefully our tastes will work with the restaurants. Otherwise we can always fill up on mickey bars....;)
I will have lime green mickey head on my fanny pack and anywhere else I can stick them! :rotfl2: Look for me from the 21st to the 30th!

lime green is the DIS colour. You can wear ribbons, or get the mickey shaped "alien" colour paint chip at home depot and dangle that from your bag. I bought a lime green bag for our last trip and put the laminated mickey heads on with green ribbon and didn't meet a single Diser. Hoping for better luck this trip!!!

I did buy a backpack in the spring with a lime green panel and may be bringing that along. Am hoping though that with all of us wearing fanny packs that we won't need the backpack.

I think you have made great choices, I love all of the places you are going. Everyone has their own tastes as far as reviews go. It is nice to know how other people feel, but in the end you really have to try it for yourself and decide. I have read some wonderful reviews on restuarants, have eaten at the places and did not like the food. So it can go either way, try these for yourself, I don't think you will be disappointed. I know I liked all of the ones you picked.:)

We just got back and I was nervous as I had some controversial picks. On our very first day of ADR's we were on the bus with people only going to MK breakfasts (Chef Mickey's, Lilo & Stitch, Cinderella's RT, Etc.) I expressed my nerves to the bus & one of the ladies turned to me and said, "Chill out, you're at Disney World, how bad could it be?"

This proved to be totally true. We really didn't like Chef Mickey's that much but how bad could it be? We met Mickey, we ate good food, we watched the monorail. We traded pins. We mosied on over to Typhoon Lagoon and laid in the sand. You get the idea. We ate at quite a few of the same places you have chosen and not a one was bad. Some of them were down right fabulous. Some of them were great but we were to tired or hungry to really settle in and love them. Some of them were sub par but we were having such an amazing time at them moment that we didn't notice them being sub par.

Ya know? Chill out, you're at Disney World, how bad could it be?
