Can you order food and eat in the bar?

The bar has some snacks, but you can't order the Jiko menu.
Friends of mine stayed there in May and ate at the bar two nights in a row - they tried the wild boar, split a filet, think they did dessert too. Not sure if things have changed since then. There are only a handful of seats at the bar. There are also a few small "cocktail" tables that you could sit and dine at, if free, but they're often occupied by people just waiting to be sat in the restaurant. Below is a picture from Disney Food Blog.

I voted for Jiko and Space 220.
Both were some of my favorite meals on our last trip.

Yes- the wild boar at Jiko was amazing!
And we did the wine pairings with each course- so fun!

Space is pre fixe and expensive, but the food was really good and the atmosphere was really cool and relaxing.

I would recommend both!

Between Jiko and Boathouse I would do Jiko. I've been to Jiko's several times and have always enjoyed my meal. I went to the Boathouse on a Saturday night and DS was packed and the restaurant was pretty loud. Now if you're throwing Citrico into the mix that's a tough choice. I would probably do Citrico over Jiko but both are lovely meals.

I can't speak to your Epcot choices because I've not been to either one. MP is wonderful as a PP mentioned but definitely not a choice if you're trying to keep to a budget.

As always, it’s what you’re wanting from the experience. Looking through your situation and comments, would keep Jiko and Space.

Jiko is fantastic and it’s different from what you can get elsewhere. It also has the benefit of being less chaotic.

I enjoy Boathouse, but it is certainly chaos. It’s also not that different that several other seafood restaurants I’ve eaten at while traveling for work. So if you’re a frequent traveler not that different.

That's what I was looking for with Boathouse. I was already leaning towards Jiko, but I've heard so many good reviews about Boathouse that I figured I'd ask the question.

I really just want to get into Space 220 somehow. Lounge reservations were completely gone all days of my trip when I hit 60 days, so lunch is the next best option.

When we were there last month, we stopped by and spoke with the check-in people at the entrance, and we got a later dinner reservation for that night.

It was an 815pm reservation so we missed fireworks, but we’re so glad to get in to the restaurant.

Maybe try that! I hope you get it ☺️.

I said Jinko it’s kinda a hidden gem!
It is a dinning experience it one of the few place I will actually drink wine, because of how well it pairs with the meal.

Love the raw bar at boathouse, but as far as regular food it pretty good, solid B

Same with paddle fish B+ A-, great place to eat,

We got reservation for my daughter birthday next month. We booked 50+ days and took what was available, but we are also a party of 8

Well this is about as even a poll as I've ever seen:

I ended up getting a Candlelight Processional Package at Rose and Crown for an early dinner, meaning there's no reason for the late lunch reservation at Space 220. It'll be my first time ever seeing the show, so I'm really looking forward to it!

For Jiko vs Boathouse, I'm still leaning towards Jiko for the restaurant itself, but it's also the only time I would be able to go to Disney Springs this trip. I don't care for the shopping there, but I wouldn't mind picking up some Gideon's cookies or Salt n Straw ice cream. So I'll still leave the poll open if anyone has suggestions for that night.
