Help make my friend's 1st trip special!

My folks and I are planning on taking my friend, (She's 19) on her 1st trip to WDW during the Aug/Sept special with the meal plan.

The thing is, as many times as I've been to Disney, I've never been with someone who's going for the first time.

I would really like to make this extra special for her, especially since she just lost her mother to cancer a few months ago, and we've become close since then.

So anything that you would suggest, I'd extremely appreciate it!

We'd probably stay at one of the All-Stars Resorts for about 5-7 days.

Do a character meal, rent a surrey at the Boardwalk, do a hair wrap, pick a pearl, treat her to a Dole Whip, visit Goofy's candy, go to the Main St. Barber shop and have your hair done...yes, I know you said she is 19, but shoot, you will be in the land of Magic and we are all kids at heart.Take her for a ride on the monorail and stop at those resorts...and above all...take LOTS of pictures and get lots of autographs....and have a very magical and happy time...

Man you guys should have a total blast.

First of all...even if people say it is for kids...take her to bibbity boppity boutique. My lady always loves this and she is in her twenties.

Second if you have the meal plan do character dining.

Finally...and this worked for me...may not for her...find out who her favorite character is. For me Pooh worked great...then go meet that character. Take a minute and tell the character about your inner-hurts and sadness. About Mom and so forth. It can bring tears yes...but for me there was tremendous healing as well because...well...Pooh understands everything and makes it all better.


Have a ring-a-ding gasser pallie.
