DS is small (20 pounds) and we're taking him to WDW in July. He'll be 20 months then. We plan to go every year.

I have the Graco Metrolite, but have seen that it can be a pain on the buses, etc. It is heavier too. So, I'm considering a lighter stroller.

I've researched a little bit based on other threads, and it seems the Quest would be good for reclining, but the Aria has the snack tray. I believe they are similar in price as well.

Quest
*lightweight 12 pounds
*reclines for naps

Aria
*10 pounds
*snack tray
*reclines for naps

Can anyone offer some suggestions as to which may be best for me?:confused3

Of those two, the Mac, hands down. I've owned both, and the Aria gets tough to push with bigger kids (25lbs+). It also has very small wheels so gets stuck at every little crack, and a virtually useless sunshade.

Though, if you love the Metrolite, I'd bring that. You need to be comfy (easy to push, basket, not tippy like a Mac), and so does he (good recline, comfy, legrest, etc.); IME the weight and folding it for buses is SUCH a small part of stroller use at Disney. It's not worth picking a WDW stroller that is lightweight and good for the buses if it isn't the right stroller for you in the parks.

I have the Aria and the above poster is correct the sunshade is useless. The cup holder I could not get to stay on for the adult. We got this for our May trip when DS was just 8mths old. It was hard to steer. You cannot push it with one hand. It was and is hard push/turn. I do like it, but it is difficult at times. For the money I would have gone another way--we bought it without trying it, just going be recommendations and features. True it does close down small and was very easy on the buses. THe basket will hold a normal size diaper bag. SOmething else I did not realize until I got it was that the harness does buckle in the front, but as far as is beind secure ---the back piece just slides into position---if you have one that likes to move about they will stay secure in the front but will be able to lean all the way forward if teh back peice becomes loose. Hope that makes sense.

We bought a Mac Quest Mod and LOVE it!! It was wonderful on the trip! But...we did get a Ray Shade to extend the sunshade a bit and also bought the Prince Lionheart attachments from BRU to attach cupholders for the "driver" & DD. Those are quick and easy to use. I think the only downside is the small basket. I bought an Eddie Bauer stroller organizer from Target and it holds a ton. It's just like the Mac organizer but less expensive. Hope that helps!

I have a Peg Aria and I recommend not getting one. The cup holder is dinky and can barely hold a water bottle. The sunshade is pretty worthless. I am also looking at getting a Mac or renting a stroller at Disney.

Have a wonderful trip!

I love my Mac Quest! I missed the huge basket of my Graco at WDW but the ease of folding and carrying it on the bus was so handy.

Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it!! I think it's pretty clear that the Mac Quest is the better option for me! Thanks again!:)

I own all 3. Quest, Aria and the Graco you have.

Between the Aria and the Quest, STAY AWAY from the Aria ! It's a piece of junk. With that said, I only take that one to WDW b/c I don't care about it. The straps are a pain to assemble, the stroller is flimsy and pieces have broken off. I can't stand it! Quest is my favorite.

This is what I did - I bought a Mac Quest and to be honest I hate it. Its tippy, small storage, no tray for parents or child, useless sunshade (IMO) and did I say tippy. I bring my Mac to the mall and for errands but on our vacations I bring my Graco. Its true the buses are a small part of stroller use - I made it into too much of a big deal.

For our May 07 trip I've rented a single from abbf.com (I think its a Metrolite) and am bringing the Mac for the resort/airport. I just might leave it in the airport on the way home - hahaha just kidding- too expensive.

Hmmm...I do love my Metrolite, and would hate to buy a stroller just for WDW. I bought the Ray shade for it too. I think it fits on all strollers though.

I guess I should go to BRU and test drive one, and make a decision later. :confused3

Thanks everyone for your input! :)

I have the quest and aria...definitely go with the quest. The aria is just as people have described...cupholder with a mind of its own, straps that keep coming off and hard to steer. Plus a royal pain to fold up on the buses. We used it when our son was still in a car seat and we wanted to just click the seat into the stroller but when he got older we bought the quest (albeebaby.com) and have used that ever since. Sure the canopy on the quest can come off pretty easily but its still a great stroller and so much easier to steer.

I have the Aria. I also have a Venezia and a Dreamer Design jogging stroller.

I do agree with the other posters that the Aria is a bit junky. The cupholder always falls out, but it doesn't matter because it's really too small to use. I suppose that European drinks are smaller? :) And several parts have fallen off the stroller, although I just called Peg Perego and they are sending me a missing part for free. I also don't like the way that they upper straps are attached to the stroller.

On the plus side, it is SUPER light. And it pretty much fully reclines, which was great for naps before my kid started refusing to nap in his stroller.

The sunshade does suck.

I've been debating what stroller to take to Disney, or if I want to buy another one. I love my Dreamer Design, but its' really heavy and bulky and doesn't recline enough. I never really liked the Venezia, except that baby can face you.
