Yes, as long as it's linked to your MDE profile under MagicBands & Cards.

No, an AP card will not function as a room key. It’s never worked for me, as it doesn’t show on the magicband page of MDE. I’ve tried on previous trips. Your best bet is to use the MDE app to enter your room when you return or stop by the front desk.

If it's linked to MDE, it should work as a room key just like any other RFID enabled card that's linked to MDE. My AP cards are linked to MDE. I may have manually linked them myself after issue (but I really don't recall).
