HELP! Just can't get my light up to do its thing!

Just got home from The Disney Store
Purchased the new light up pin...but cannot figure out how to make the thing light!
HELP ME!

Is there a thin piece of plastic in the back? If so, it needs to be removed. On our WDW light up pins the piece is there so the pin doesn't accidentally go off.

Lynnie.. don't feel bad. I just walked in our local Disney Store and the manager grabbed me and asked me to make the light up pin work for her..lol
