Yes, jeans are now allowed in the dining rooms.
Being that others have felt compelled to add their thoughts on the policy I will as well. The change in dress code, quite simply, is the dumbing down to the lowest common denominator. While it won't "effect" my dinner, it looks sloppy. I don't care if your jeans cost $15 or $150. They are made of denim and they are not appropriate for the setting.
I don't know why shorts and tank tops are not allowed if jeans are. I don't know why dry bathing suits are not allowed if jeans are. The difference is all a matter of taste.
