Yes, you can, if they're purchased prior to 2016....... the 'blue card' grandfathered resale points purchased in 2015 or earlier.

Since DVC grandma’s question was answered, hoping to pivot (but stay on topic) to ask: I have 2 Y card UYs (Aug and Oct)— I don’t have MMB yet, but think I want to use MMB and OTUP to buy a single sorcerer’s pass for my kid (who is a minor and lives at home with us!), I expect to use the Sorcerer’s pass in Aug 2025, Nov 2025, Jan/Feb 2026, and maybe again early summer 2026 before it expires. We will also be at DLR a lot for the 70th, and regularly visit Starview Station.

Is there any reason to do it in one UY vs the other? Can I pull points from both Oct and Aug UYs for the pass or only the one that signs up for MMB?

I think ideally I’d like to take some from each UY membership, but can make a sole UY membership work as long as I can borrow points from 2026 into 2025 (I think I have to buy OTUP in 2025 if the AP will be used in Aug 2025…but maybe not if I use my OctUY?). Why is this so complicated?

I would buy it on the UY in which you want to sue the most points. I was told that you could transfer points for this purpose.

But, it would count as your one and done transfer with that being the new rule.

For OtU points, they just need to be in the membership and UY that you will buy the pass

So, if you buy on your Aug UY, buy the OTU points for your Aug 2025 UY….if Oct, it’s Oct 2025 UY you want those points.

That has nothing to do with when you will use or activate the pass…that is the same as always.

Thank you @Sandisw — I just want to make sure I’m understanding correctly— if I want to buy the Sorcerers Pass tomorrow, it would go in my 2025UY and not my 2024 UY, even though I’m still in the 2024 year? Same for MMB? Or is MMB calendar year?

The pass won’t go in any UY…it will be just like if you paid cash…loaded to your account as a certificate good for one year.
