Help! Info?

I thought I remembered someone saying somewhere that they had left their kids at a kids club at one of the resorts while they had a special adults-only meal, and the kids had dinner and fun kids' activities and loved it -- but the only kids clubs I've been able to find info on are on the cruises. Do they have them at the resorts, and if so, would it be possible for me to leave my kids at one while DH and I have a 'date' at CG or Boma? Can anyone point me to more info about them, if they exist? Thanks!

And a non-restaurant, technical question -- WHY is it that nearly every time I try to post, it tells me it's a duplicate of a thread I've posted in the past 5 mins (even if I haven't posted anything yet all day), and won't let me post it? I have to cut and paste my message and try again and again and again, modifying the title, before it eventually will 'take' and actually post :( This is my 8th time trying to post this thread, with as many different post titles, and it's getting incredibly frustrating. Any ideas on how I can avoid this problem and just POST like a normal person?

Thanks in advance!

It believe it is the Neverland Club at the Poly.. You can call DTC for more info or even try the WDW web site.. I dont know alot about though....

According to the Unofficial Guide to WDW here are the Kids Clubs at WDW:

Animal Kingdom Lodge...Simba's Clubhouse
Contemporary Resort...Mouseketeer Clubhouse
Dolphin...Dinner Camp
Grand Floridian...Mouseketeer Clubhouse
Polynesian Resort...Neverland Club
Swan...Dinner Camp
Yacht & Beach Club...Sandcastle Club
Wilderness Lodge...Cub's Den

Oh yes...we love the kid's clubs! The kids have to be 4 years to... I think 12 years old. The kids clubs open at 4:30 and they take reservations, although I always just call the day of. They give the kids dinner (choice of PB&J, chicken tenders, etc) if they are there at dinner time. It is $10 an hour.

My DD has stayed at the club at AKL once and the one at WL 3 times. We always make a point to go out on a "mommy/daddy night only" and we leave DD (she is 6 1/2 now) at a kid's club. She loves it and begs to stay. If it wasn't $10 an hour, I would let her stay all night! LOL! they have arcade games, movies and do arts and crafts. I have heard that the Neverland club is the best, but I haven't seen it. I like to leave her at whatever resort we are staying at...then we have dinner drinks and "alone time" for about 3 hours, and we never leave the resort. They give you a beeper and take your cel phone number, so you are free to go where ever you want!

Hope this helps, we LOVE the kid's clubs! :Pinkbounc

Thank you! That's *exactly* the info I was looking for!

It won't work for us yet, since our youngest is 2 1/2... but it sounds like a great idea for future trips! Or maybe letting just our daughter do it this time at some point, as a special treat... some time away to do her own thing for a little while, while baby brother takes a nap or something :)

Yes, Ardenne...even if you just leave her there for an hour, I bet she would love it! Someone on this board once said there is a minimum, but that is not true, although mybe you do have to pay for one full hour.

Definitely keep it in mind for future trips. You know, if you dine at Blue Zoo or Shulas...you can leave your kiddies FOR FREE at the kid's club at the Dolphin hotel for two hours! That is a great deal!
