help in finding resort

We are a planning a trip in Oct and need either a 2 or 3 bedroom villa.We have been looking at Saratoga resort villas but cannot find out much information about them. Anyone been there to give any help?

If you go to disney's website and look up DVC it will pull up the DVC page. You can see the lay out of each type of room at each of the DVC resorts.
You can book DVC villas through CRO or you can rent points from a member.
If you know you want to stay at Saratoga, you can head to the DVC forum and ask about locations at that resort so you can request the best location to suite your needs.

I am by no means an expert but we stayed at SSR last year and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We rented points from someone on the DVC board and got the 3 bedroom and it was AMAZING!!!! We will definitely be staying there again!

Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is a Disney Vacation Club resort. You can book this straight through Disney, another option is to go to the DVC rent/trade board here and find a member you can rent points from. It would be less expensive that way (also more risky - read the FAQ sticky thread).

We are DVC members and stayed at SSR on our last trip. It is a beautiful resort, the accommodations are very pleasant (being brand new doesn't hurt, but I really loved the decor as well). The resort is very big and sprawling. The pool areas are very nice.... IIRC, the Paddock building is closest to the main pool (ask on the DVC forum!) I know that we requested the building that was closest to the main pool, but ended up being put in one of the outer lying buildings that was still a bit of a walk to one of the smaller pools). The spa and workout facilities look wonderful (we wandered thru to take a peek, but did not use them). This resort is on the bus routes for the parks and we found taking the bus to be rather time consuming so you might prefer to have your own transportation when staying there. JMHO though. We usually stay at the Boardwalk where we have two parks w/in walking distance so it could just be that we're spoiled by that!
