...how long does it take to walk to the ride, get in line and finish the ride?

We're going during a slower time, late Sept. We're trying to plan our schedule for the two days we'll be there.

Trying to balance the morning for rides, versus 10:00 shows, versus feeding the dolphins or stingrays.

Also, is there a big difference in lines for Manta or Kraken between morning and mid afternoon? (like there is at the Disney parks for the popular rides?)

Thanks in advance.

Dan

When we went we spent the whole day just seeing the shows and we had lunch. We didn't try to ride anything. But when we went in we walked around for a few minutes, got a map and looked up where and when the first show was. I don't remember which show it was, but it was at 10 am, so we found our way around to the show and got there about 30 minutes prior to the show starting to get a decent seat. I think we saw 5 shows that day and had lunch and were there all day. If you wanted to ride rides too you really can stretch it out to 2 days. But they way they time the shows, if you just look online at that dates show times before hand you can plan out which show you want to see and what time and go from show to show without much of a break in between.

Manta will get longer lines in the afternoon so I would ride that one right when you get there,it also helps that it's right by the park entrance.Kraken rarely has a huge wait, not because it's not a good ride as it's my favorite coaster in Orlando, maybe due to it's location at the back of the park or ride capacity.Unless you're going in a high peak period I doubt you'll have to wait over 10-15 minutes for Kraken but Manta on an average day will see the wait times hit 30-60 minutes in the afternoon.

Just wanted to echo what DOOM said about Manta. We were there in early October last year and the line for Manta was much shorter in the morning and late afternoon (close to closing time - which is when we rode it). Early to mid afternoon, the wait times were anywhere from 30-60 minutes. When we went in the late afternoon, we only waited 15 minutes.

Awesome ride! You'll love it!! :thumbsup2
