Help--ID Flying Question

Do we need ID for 7 year olds (i.e. Birth certificate) when we fly? We leave Saturday and I'm pretty sure we don't but want to make sure.

We never did when my kids were younger and we were traveling within the US. You can always just double check with the airline to make sure. Hope you have a great trip!

( as an aside several states will eventually Require Passports when flying, as their licenses did not meet federal guidelines... one can google that for dates/details)
I'm of the mind, better safe than sorry... so just bring it, and If needed ..no issue for ur family.

No. Anyone under 18 does not need an id.

Just to pile on....
Nope! No ID needed for 7 year olds to fly domestically. The TSA agent may ask the kid their name, but if the kid happens to hide behind your legs and not say anything at all, you'll still get through without a problem (been there, done that.)

Well, unless the child is flying on a special child discount fare. Then the airline might need it. But it's highly unlikely that's that is the case, especially domestically.
