Help ! I want to post photos, but I am technically impaired!

Okay... I finally decided I would share a photo of a page.... and I am CLUELESS. I have been all over the Tech Support board... FAQ area, etc. I have the photo on my hard drive and uploaded to Shutterfly. But that is it. I have a headache from trying to read these stupid posting directions and I am ready to cry. Can anyone please explain this process to me... step by step in little words for the idiot over here?? Thanks so much to anyone out there who can help me! (and remember..... little words please!)................P

If the page is already at shutterfly, you can just give us the link to click to your shutterfly page. You can get the link from the address bar in your browser. Make sure the check box to automatically parse links is checked when you make your post.

When I tried this, it wouldn't show the pictures without my password. Did I do something wrong?

I brought up the page I wanted to share, copied the address bar, and pasted on a test thread. Is there more to it than that? ...........P

Okay.... I give up. I have been reading the info over at the Tech Support board and I am baffled. I tried to upload the picture from my hard drive to the Dis photo gallery. I get logged in and I click upload pictures and then I click on the browse and then double click on the photo name I want uploaded... then I click upload. Then I wait.... then it tells me "no more images found".... so I assume it has finished up loading. But if it did upload, where did my picture go??? I don't see it in the members gallery. AHHHHHHHH! I quit......................P

The picture has to be less than 300K to be uploaded.

If you can find it on your computer, check the properties and it will tell you how big it is. If it is more than 300K you will have to resize it with an image program.
All the pictures I take are usually bigger than 300K (600-900K) and I only have 3.2 megapixels. If you have more, than I would guess your pictures are too big.
