We only have 26 more days until our surprise DW trip. I'm beyond excited!:cool1::banana::yay:

I've got to come up with something else to plan for our trip to pass the time. I've planned our park schedule, meals, rental car, and airline. I've even made a book with all of the menus and confirmation information. Can you think of anything else to do? My family thinks I've lost it but I have to do something to keep busy until the trip. The days are going so much slower as we get closer.

Oh I soooooo understand how you feel. I am over three months away and I struggle with things to do to keep myself busy. Luckily I happened upon this lovely little site to keep me calm and keep my DH sane since he can't stand constant talking about Disney.

I don't know the dynamic of your family or if you are celebrating anything. If you have small kids you can arrange travel games, puzzles for the car or plane. If you are celebrating something you can make gift bags. Do you have any back-up activities planned for a possible rainy afternoon?

I'm curious to see what other posters suggest.

Are you a scrapbooker? You could pre scrap some page layouts for all the photo's you bring home?

Take a look at the restaurant menus and plan what you want to eat.

Since you will be on your feet all day for several days, take long walks to prepare your body. We always say we are in training mode for Disney.

We are a cheer family and always have the girls make door signs. You may not want your family to make door signs with the kids names like we do, however, you could let the kids make a door sign representing their home state or city? Or just a Disney Theme door sign. Where are you staying, if they have metal doors you can put on the door with magnets. Otherwise easy to remove putty.

It's just really an art project for the kids to pass time. I know on cruise ships many people make door signs for their cabin to represent themselves, their birthday celebration, anniversary, etc.

Here is a video tip about doors. It does say Disney hotels do not allow tape (which most don't).

I am sure if you google search Disney Door Sign, you will find a lot of ideas.

I made sit down restaurant invitations for each restaurant that were magically appeared in our room each morning with a tiny present.

The scrapbook pages is such a good idea. You can never have enough pages ready:)

I am doing the walking thing now. I tell my DH it's Disney training!

I don't know how I'm going to get the voices, but I plan to make recordings once a week my godchild can call into to let her know it's getting closer to our time in Disney.

I have google voice. It allows you to set up individual voicemails depending on which number you get a call from. So I can tailor it to her.

I'm going to have her mom record her reactions the first couple times so I can see.
