I am slipping...slipping....slipping....backwards!!

I was doing great....lost 10 lbs on SB....excercising everyday...feeling strong etc... Posting on the daily excercise thread..which was a big accomplishment for me!! Not eating Bread for 2 weeks was a big accomplishment for me!!

It has all been lost! I have not yet gained the weight back but at this rate I will! Polished off some mini white powered tasteykake donuts this morning! Feeling sick and need some yellin' at I think!
I haven't even really logged on to this thread in a couple of weeks cause I was not in that "mental state" of healthy!

I need and want to get back to that healthy place I was a month ago....believe me I still have a way to go than just the 10 lb loss!
I think excercise is the key....once I convince myself to move...the rest falls into place easier! I need to not have a string of "I'll start today's" and just actually do it.

Please...please...please...give some words of encouragement!
Thanks :(

Hi panfan, we have missed you!

You can do it. Getting back on the wagon after a jump isn't easy but you can do it! The fact that you felt mentally ready to come here today and say you need help shows you are ready to get back on track. Why don't you join the exercise challenge that's going on right now? The month is half over but you could shoot for maybe 400 minutes of exercise by the end of the month.

Also with your eating, maybe you could go back to Phase 1 for a week or so to detox yourself and get rid of the cravings for the bad carbs.

Coming here everyday is definitely a boost. You could start a journal, that really helps me. Also, posting to our SBD thread would be helpful too.

I don't think you need a kick in the pants or tough love. You sound like you just need some encouragement and a little inspiration to get back on track. Since you know you were at such a good place a month ago, why don't you pull up some of your past threads and re-read them. Feel the excitement and happiness you had then, it may stimulate you to want those feelings again.

Last but not least, how about taking it one day at a time. You don't have to worry about tomorrow or the next day - just focus on doing all the things TODAY you need to do to be successful. Sometimes I think we get overwhelmed by the "big picture" and at times like this, we need to focus on the here and now. If you are successful (eating on plan, drinking water, exercising) today and repeat the process tomorrow and the day after and the day after that and just keep going, you will get to your goal!:flower1:

HI Pan Fan:wave2:

I know you are going to get back on track - Thats why you are here! Think back and remember how good you felt when you were on plan and exercising - You can do this!

I agree that exercise is key - It makes you feel so much better and positive about things! As Lisa said take it one day at a time! If I thought about how long I will need to be OP(to lose wgt) I would be overwhelmed! take it in little victories - 5lbs at a time - clothes that fit better or get to big - looking in the mirror and seeing a healthier complexion - having more energy. One thing at a time.

Hey and don't wait to check into this board when you are in a good state of mind only - come here when you feel yourself slipping - don't go 2 weeks - heck thats what we are here for to encourage each other!

So keep posting and let everyone know how you are doing - I know you will suceed!
