Help I need prayers UPDATED

I just had my one year thyroid cancer free appt with my doctor last week, but I've also been awaiting biopsy results on a mole I had removed. They said they would call only if it wasn't good news. They called at 9:30. I have to come in today for the results (which I already know are not good). So now I'm sitting here watching the clock move slowly until I have to go to the doctor while trying to put on a happy face for my two year old. Inside I'm a complete mess. I hate this. I thought I was done with all of this. I just need your prayers right now. Thanks.

I JUST GOT HOME. UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS MELANOMA, BUT I CAUGHT IT EARLY. I HAVE SURGERY SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY. AS THE NURSE SAID, I'M VERY LUCKY TO HAVE CAUGHT IT EARLY. IT'S JUST A LITTLE DISHEARTENING TO HAVE JUST PASSED MY ONE YEAR THRYOID CANCER FREE MARK AND NOW I FEEL LIKE I'M AT STEP ONE AGAIN WITH THIS. I KNOW I'M LUCKY TO HAVE HAD TWO DIFFERENT CANCERS THAT WERE BOTH VERY TREATABLE. I WILL BE POSITIVE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. THEY MEAN A LOT!

BTW THE DR. SAID NO OCEAN WATER WHEN I TOLD HIM I HAD MY DISNEY CRUISE COMING UP IN 3 WEEKS. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THINGS TO DO AT CASTAWAY CAY INSTEAD OF SWIMMING?

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have a family member who has survived many years after her Thyroid cancer treatments. Perhaps this follow-up may be related to a chemical imbalance, and not a reocurrence or a problem with the mole.
