Help! I need advice for Christmas!!!

My DD8 wants a pottery wheel for Christmas. Well, I have found several and wanted to know if anyone here has bought a pottery wheel in the past and would they recommend it? I have read all the reviews at the different store sites but, I never can seem to trust them. Any ideas would be greatly welcomed!! Thanks!!

Hi! She got her Nintendo DS last year and lots of art supplies. She got Nintendogs with the DS and she loves that game! We can't have pets where we live si, I guess that helps since she wants a dog so badly! She loves to paint, draw and make things with clay and play dough. She also got an easy bake oven but, she has more fun coming into the kitchen with me! What does your DD seem to be into? Maybe I can offer some suggetions! It just seems to get harder every year to find things for them!

What about a series of pottery/art classes at a local art school or museum? Or sign up for a few sessions at a paint your own pottery place?

That's a great idea! We live in a small town and the closest place is a little over 45 mins away though. Maybe I will call the local community college and aks if they can do a one on one kind of thing?? Thanks for the idea!!
