Help! I need a vaccum QUICK!

I need a vaccum asap.

I just used an entire can of Glade Carpet Deoderizer on my rug and my cheap - o sweeper vac thing broke down...again. This is getting silly and I have decided that rather than deal with trying to fix a bad $40 carpet sweep thing, I am going to just go to Best Buy and get a vaccum as soon as my SO gets home.

Can anyone reccommend a good one for under $250

I got an Oreck for 250.00 and it came with the free handheld vacuum (which is awesome). I LOVE this vacuum cleaner.

I'll check for that kind. I have heard Orecks are awesome, but always shyed away from getting one because of the price tag But I am at a point where I realize it's worth the money to get something that will work & last.

Hey...I just noticed i have a 10% off any vaccum over $199 coupon for Best Buy, if I use my Best Buy card. So I think I will use that.

Anyone have any expereince buying vaccums with Best Buy?

I do not have one personally, but I have heard great reviews on the Dyson vac. I want to get one, but mine still works and I can't see parting with money for something I already have!!

I don't think you can buy an Oreck in a store.

I have a Miele.. and I love mine, easy to work with, small cannister. Check them out on line too.
