Hi all! I need a fast, easy recipe for a desserty treat from Disney. My friends are coming over to chat about their Disney trip and I want to give them a taste of Disney!

I did this type of thing before, I made Main Street Bakery cookies, but they didn't turn out great. I can make awesome au gratin breakfast potatoes and cream cheese french toast from Cindy's but I want something desserty and fast and easy to make.

Any ideas? Thanks! S

How about Dole Whips . . . or at least a "Great Pretender" recipe for them?

Pineapple Icee Whip
a Great Pretender for Dole Whips, from from Dole.com

Prep: 10 min.
Freeze: 3 hrs.
Makes: 8 servings

2 cans DOLE Crushed Pineapple (20 oz. each)
2 Tbl lemon juice
2 Tbl lime juice
1/3 c sugar
½ c chopped maraschino cherries, mini marshmallow or mini chocolate chips, (optional)
1½ c heavy whipping cream, whipped

Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons juice. Set aside.

Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice in blender or food processor container. Cover; blend until smooth. Stir in cherries or marshmallow or chips, if desired.

Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags. Store bags flat in freezer. Freeze about 1-1/2 hours or until slushy.

Stir gently pineapple slush into whipped cream until just blended, in large bowl. Return to freezer until completely frozen, about 1 hour. Serve.

How about Rice Krispie treats like they sell on Main Street (w/chocolate on top)? I make a normal batch then spread melted milk chocolate chips on top. Wait until they cool, then cut into squares. You could add a layer of peanut butter in there if you wanted.

If you had one of those large mickey-head cookie cutters you could cut them out too.

Rice Krispy Treats are a good idea - not a lot of work! I'd thought of suggesting Crisp Rice Sushi from the Contemporary, but every time I've made them they've turned into an ordeal! Getting fruit roll-ups that don't have shapes "cut" into them is getting really tough. (They keep popping at the "seams", making it difficult to roll them.) They're always a hit, though.
