Help! I may have to postpone our trip next week and need advice o

We are suppose to check into Port Orleans next Saturday and need some advice. My son got hit in the eye with a baseball yesterday and is on bed rest for the week to limit and control bleeding. We will likely have to cancel as the doctor doesnt think his eye will be cleared up in time. What is the best way to approach this? Has anyone had to deal with this before?

Call them and explain the situation. Cant speak for anything recent but I know when my dad had his heart attack, I just called and they refunded me my points(dvc ressie) but that was like 5 years ago.

I think it might be the same as cancelling and rebooking, but I'm not sure. I agree with a smcabee, call them and have a chat.

So sorry to hear about your Son. Hope he heals quickly.

What ever you do, do not try to take this trip! Especially if you are flying. Flying will cause pressure on the eye and surrounding vessels and if the vessels are weak they could rupture!

Call and talk to Disney I am sure they will be helpful with rebooking.
