HELP I got wrong information the DCV website

I was on the DVC member website on 1/27/08 to bank the remaining 2007 points I had left. I always bank the remaining points in January since my User year is August to receive 100%. However when I was on the site, the message in RED under "my vacation points" told me I had until March of 2008 to bank my remaining 2007 points. Since the banking calendar had changed, I thought "great" I will be calling sometime this week to make a ressie at HH and then I could also bank my points with plenty of time to spare in the banking window. I wrote the message down in my DVC planner so I would make a note of it. Well tonight I went online to check something and the message tells me I only have 50% of the remaining points to bank!! WHAT!!!! I am so throughly confused. Why would the message on 1/27 tell me one thing and now something else. The forunate thing is I am only losing 9 points, but I don't understand how this could happen.

Has anyone else this problem, any suggestions? I really want DVC to stand behind what the website had stated. HELP!!!!!

I think they still have the old messages coming up. The new policy is that you can bank up to 100% of your points up to 8 months into your UY.

I too noticed that the banking cut off date was changed several times. I even took a screenshot of it since it said I could bank all my points up till the end of Dec. 2008. My use year is December!! A few days later it changed to November, then August and now sits at July 2008 - which IS 4 months! Gosh I hope it stays that way. I wasn't sure if the new rules applied to me yet since I'm still on 2007 points.

I also noticed this. It had my banking window set for a month later than it should be. I guess I should have told someone, but I am sure someone already did.

Ours was screwed up also. I emailed Member Satisfaction and they fixed it. It took them 2 tries but it's fixed now.

I had the same issue... They fixed it once I called... the website is set up for the current (new) banking rules

Mine was wacky,too, so I banked by the date that I KNEW I had to bank by and didn't trust the website.

I just spoke to MS today to add a day on to our July 4th weekend ressie. The CM reminded me that I have until March 31st to bank my 2007 points (August UY). I wouldn't worry about what it says on the members website.

Hi,

I wanted to let everyone know I received an email back from DVC. They are aware of the banking error issue on the web. YEAH! They are putting the points back into my 2007 UR and confirmed I have until March 2008 to bank the points.

I am very relieved. Thanks for making me feel I was not losing my mind......at least not today!
