HELP! I can't find any cute/stylish Crochet patterns!

I can't find any more stylish or fashionable Crochet Patterns.

Yes i have googled and i failed to find anything that's may age every thing is to old or to childish for me!

I am looking for the kind of things you would see a teen actually wear!

Its driving me crazy!

ETA i am looking for wintery stuff forgot to mention that.

I crochet also. I find a lot of cool and trendy patterns on ravelry. Many are free for download too! I also like that in ravelry you can see people who have made the pattern and what it looks like worked up in different yarns.

I get most of my patterns for crocheting at http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory.php if that helps you at all. I've had a tough time finding stuff my DD14 will wear too, but there are some hats, shrugs, scarves and bags I've seen that she's shown an interest in. This site is amazing for patterns; I can't remember the last time I actually had to PURCHASE a pattern! You can also see if anyone can help you out at www.crochetville.org, but I believe what you'll get mainly is people directing you to the pattern site!

I was thinking the SAME thing!!

My co worker came in the other day with the CUTEST crocheted rose on her jacket. It was just perfect! That was the only time I'd seen anything cute and crocheted since I wore them in the 70s!

I was going to say the same thing .

I lived through the 70's and had crocheted hats, bags, halter tops, etc. Not doing that again. I had that cap in the picture too.

Its extremely hard to find things that are not ugly but it is possible.
I knew someone who made one that looked a lot like what they where selling in the better stores at the mall that year.

AHA! April Draven; I love a lot of the stuff she makes. I had a tough time deciphering her patterns at first but got used to it fairly quickly. What, exactly, are you looking for a pattern for?

OP, what sort of items are you looking for. There are some very unique patterns out there that don't look like something your Grandma (respect to all Grandmas everywhere) would have made to wear (or for you).

Try searching on unique or designer patterns. I've found a few that way. Tricky work though, that is true. I seriously dislike most of what you'll find. * sigh *

I was thinking the same thing. I have never met teens like that. Is it something new?
The only thing I could see them wearing is a poncho. Beyond that I cannot imagine.
