We are going to Disney in March. Now I wanted to go again in December but I don't know if we would like that or would rather go during Super Soap Weekend. I really would like to see "christmas" at Disney though. Which would you do? I was thinking about doing it in October as well but DH isn't a big Halloween fan.

Well, I went in March and I am going in December! I would definately go after Thanksgiving if you've never been. It's amazing! Since we are doing December this year, we are probably doing October next year. I would love to got to Super Soap Weekend, but only with a group of friends, not little ones or husbands!

I'm a GH watcher myself, and although I've never been to SSW, I've heard quite a few horror stories about it. Some really pushy people, massive crowds at anything dealing with the soaps, etc., but not bad ride wait times. You have to get Fastpasses for the autograph sessions, and from what I remember reading you get in the longggg line, get 1 fastpass, and then go get in another line. I believe the max Fastpasses (on average) was for 2 or 3 stars. IMO, you might want to check the site and see which stars are going to be there. If it's no one you're particularly interested in, I wouldn't go. Even so... as for me, I'd go in December to see all the decorations and MVMCP (pardon me if I messed up that acronym, LOL). :goodvibes

I think we will probably go in December. It also gives us more time to save as well! :cool1:

I'd choose Dec... in fact I am going in December! We went the day after Christmas on our first trip. The Christmas spirit was wonderful! Everything was so beautiful and I LOVED  the Very Merry Christmas Parade!! The toy soldiers, dancing trees & packages and all the princesses in fur trimmed dresses with furry muffs! Magical! :hyper: I can hardly wait!!! And this year we get to go to MVMCP!!!! :Pinkbounc

We're going the first week of Dec... if I could change now I'd go the 2nd week (Pop Warner convention 2 or 3 to the 10th... didn't know when I made plans.) I'd say from the 10 until maybe even the 20th shouldn't be too busy.

March is a Spring Break month... so it could be busy depending on which week. We went to SSW once. Not really fans, just happened to be there. It FILLED MGM but didn't notice it too much at the other parks. :flower:

March wasn't too bad this last time we went. It's shouldn't be too bad this time since most spring break's are in April. I think we will go in December as well though. Does any know how to get a list of celebrity speakers?
