Okay so I broke my foot a month ago, start physical therpay on Monday and have become OBSESSED with my trip back home. I am always obsessed but this is insane. I keep coming up with different ideas of things to do and end up confusing myself, so I ask for your help, please!!!!!!!!!!

Some questions I have:

Where do I find the cost of renting boats at OKW?

Was thinking about getting my DH a ride along at the Richard Petty experience, my concern is if my husband would be comfortable in the car. He is 6'2" about 250lbs, does anyone know if there is a weight limit??

My DH is not an early riser, was wondering what things would you suggest I do with my DD (6) that would not be a miss for my DH. (I don't want him to miss a special moment with her)

Other than the quiet pools at OKW what pools would you suggest for me (AKA - hop along) that would be safe for me but fun for my DD.

I think that is it for now, any input would be appreciated. I am now going to go to my round room and look for the corner:laughing:

If you're at OKW they have children's activities - there will be a schedule in your packet at checkin. :thumbsup2
Also, maybe you could take her to DTD and let her play at the lego store, get an icecream at Ghiardelli's - take a bus to Ft. Wilderness :cloud9:- there use to be a petting zoo there when my kids were young don't know if it's still there or not though - but they have a nice playground and she could play on the beach there and build a sandcastle.

I am not an early riser for the most part. However, your DD6 is only young once. Tell your DH to get his *** out of bed and enjoy your DD's life. You cannot get these days back. Your DH can sleep when he's gone.... Plan a day or for him to sleep in. Other than, tell him to get up and enjoy life.

From 1800bepetty dot com:

Are there weight or height restrictions?

Not exactly. The cars do not have doors, so participants must have the ability to climb through a 15" high by 30" wide window that sits 36" from the ground. Our driving suits are available up to size 3X.

I would look at the page of drive-along info, and really look at those windows. Not big.

Now your hubby has the advantage of height, so he might be a leaner guy than another at 250... My hubby's 5'10" and I'm not sure if he'd get in there at 250 (he's above that currently, to be clear I'm NOT judging at all here), but even if he could, he's sensitive to *feeling* fat, so he wouldn't even try until he got to 220 or so (he has told me this).

If your hubby's on the leaner side of 250, isn't sensitive like my husband is, and wants to do it bad enough, he should go for it! I can't wait until my husband gets to where he is brave enough to try!

I'm not a morning person either, but on vacations I change. However, if I were truly sleepy in the mornings, I would urge hubby and son to go swimming without me. I actually missed part of the first time DS swam, sort of, on his own...I was walking by the pool on my way to a DVC presentation at DLR and saw the middle of it...and it actually didn't hurt as bad as I would have thought. Then again I'm around DS for almost all his other firsts...hubby's allowed to get a few all to himself, LOL. So swimming is one that I would think was fine.
