Help! How to attach name tags from wdw???

OK, I must be an idiot. We are leaving tomorrow and I have our name tags ready to put on the bags (the ones they sent with ME tags with the reflective Mickey (NOT the ME tags, those were easy)). They came with a plastic strip, but it does not appear to snap or attach in any way. If anyone knows how I am supposed to use that, please help me!! It must be so simple that I am overthinking it?? I can't loop it and tie it. It has a ridge in it which made me think it was like a zip tie ir zip loc type closure...no luck. Are they even supposed to be used to attatch name tag? Guess I'll just get the string attachers from the airport in the am.

The middle of the plastic strip should separate so it is like a loop. Put the luggage tag on from the right side and push it on about an inch or or. Now open up the loop on the right side of the luggage tag and put the left side loop thru the hole on the right side and pull it tight, so now the tag is on one end of a larger loop. Next, put the plastic strip under your luggage handle, open the loop end that is furthest away from the luggage tag, and stick the luggage tag thru the loop, then pull it tight around your luggage handle.

If you are more of a visual person, I'm pretty sure someone posted on YouTube how to attach Disney luggage tags. Try a search of the forums as well because I think that's where I saw it once.
