HELP???? How do you post pics to a new thread?????????????????????

ok...I know I'm not a rocket scientist or anything but I know my way around a computer. I am having the HARDEST time trying to figure out how to post pictures to a thread. HELP? When I post a new thread & click on "insert image" it asks for a HTTP. I'm adding one in & in the preview NOTHING comes up. WHen I was reading DIS FAQS, it states somewhere that a "BROWSE" option should come up & I can browse for the image on my computer. Neither is working? What am I doing wrong?

Your image has to be in a web host like photobucket, flickr etc. You cannot add from your desktop. Hope that helps.
