Help--how do I take my tickets off MDE?

I would like to take my tickets off of My Disney Experience profile to give to a friend as we are not using them (have APs). These are tickets that have never been used. When I was at WDW in Dec I asked for hard tickets, so I have the ticket media in hand, but didn't think to ask to take them off MDE. Please tell me this doesn't have to be done at in person at Guest Relations since I am no where close . If that is not possible can I ask IT to link the tickets to someone else's MDE over the phone?

You have to have your friend as a friend on MDE then you can reassign them to them.
