Help - how do I do this? mAgic band/tickets question

I am sure if I read through all the stuff on Magic Bands I can figure this out but I know someone on here can tell me much quicker!
I have just booked a last minute trip to Disney leaving a week from today. I am staying just one night on property (Art of Animation and taking magical express in) but then transferring to off property for the next 3 nights. I booked room only as I wasn't sure how many park days we would do and I wasn't sure how that would work....I do, however, now want to buy park tickets for 3 days. How does this work?
-should I purchase tix over the phone with Disney and if so will they link to my account so I can start setting up fast passes?
-if I am moving off property, does this mean that I no longer use a magic band after we leave the first night?
Would I then be using a paper ticket?

I am so confused and yet woud love to have the magic band on the whole time - can I use the magic band after I am off property for tickets, fast pass, just not charging privileges?

Can someone tell me what's easiest to do? Thank you!!

The easiest is to call Disney reservations and have them add the tickets to your resort reservation. You can then use your MagicBand for every day that you have tickets. It will work as your park pass as long as valid tickets are attached to it, or until the battery runs out, whichever comes first.

Log into your account, go to the Tickets tab and buy whatever tickets you want. They'll be connected to your account. I assume you've already customized the bands so they are waiting for you at the resort? You can still use the MB once you're off property for ticket and FP+ purposes. Just not for charging. Exactly as you thought.
