HELP haan vs. shark

which one in your opinion is better, my wife wants one and want to get her the right one. At no point do I want to buy one then have to deal with returning it because it isnt very good.

So I ask you all, the wise disney vets, which do you think is best?

I just read a few reviews online, and everyone seems to think the Eureka steam mop is better than either one. It heats the water to a higher temp. than the others and cleans better. I'm off to Wal-Mart to get one today.

I have been thinking about getting a steam mop. Was impressed by Haan's TV ads.

I checked out Sunnyday123's recommendation about Eureka. Take a look at the reviews on Amazon. There are several reviews that do a through comparison of the different manufacturer's models. Interested read. I think I may look into the Eureka's!!!!

Wow this is perfect timing. There was a thread the other day that got me interested in the Shark and I was going to just get that one. I had no idea there were more choices. Thanks for posting that link.

Yeah, talk about timing. Interested in 1 of these myself. Have seen QVC play with both the Shark and the Haan. haven't seen them play with the Eureka though.

what my wife likes about the haan is that you can clean some carpets and the beds do the others do this also

i like what i read about the Eureka, but does it clean beds also, this is something we really wanted.

I ordered my Eureka online on Sunday. With all this snow melting, I cannot wait to use it! Whoever gets there's first, use it and then tell us all how it went.

Is it sad we are all this excited about cleaning floors?

I just bought the shark steam pocket for $56 at Kohls online. I had a 30% off coupon and a free shipping code ( I had to order it using my grandmother's kohls card though!!)

I purchased the Haan from QVC a few months ago. I used it once was not impressed and sent it back. The commerical on TV made it seem that it had a powerful steam flow. I sure didn't find that. Took me forever to clean some spots off my hardwood floors. My floors did not appear to be clean after I used the Haan. I also thought the water tank was to small .

Based on the Eureka reviews, I think I'll give that one a try.

Going to order the Haan today, really like the carpet and bed attachment that comes with it.

I do not have the mop, I do however have the Shark hand held steam cleaner and am NOT impressed with it at all. I was so excited to open it up after getting it for Christmas and just steaming away all around the kitchen and bathroom. It does not even come close to being hot steam....it is not even luke warm, I can hold my hand in front of the nozzle and I should not be able to do this without getting burnt. I am going to assume the mop is much the same.
