HELP! Golf cart question!!

Is it best to rent your golf cart from Disney itself or should I get it from a source outside of Disney World?

Price is very important but reliability is also important because there are certain golf cart rental companies that I've heard are very unreliable and will stress you out. Just asking anyone who has any past experience with this. Please help!

We can't help you if there are no specifics.

Some vendors are reliable.

Some haven't been. Of course, using a credit card gives you some protection.


Disney carts are expensive. Others are less so.

Off property rental will save you some money. We rented from TeeTime last summer with absolutly NO problems. Wonderful service, and good equipment. Not sure who you're referring to as a stress factor as I haven't been following the board for a few months, My best advice is to research the vendors available and ask questions here. Good Luck!

We rented from TeeTime too, they are great. We had no problems and you save tons of money... We are renting from them again in July.
The first time we rented from Disney and the last two time was from outside vendors. Both vendors were great. TeeTime has rain gear for his golf carts.

I have also rented from Kenny from TeeTime and I have had no problems at all. He is a super nice guy and hus carts are nice and clean. The rain gaurds are a real plus!!

Based on recommendations from these boards, I used Kenny, too. No issues whatsoever and saved some real money.

Have been to the Fort 12 times and have never rented one, till now. Kenny said he will call me the day before we arrive (4/27) and give me the info about the cart. Gives us even more reason to be excited!

Kenny calls you the day before you arrive to determine what time you will get to the Fort. Usually he has carts at reception outpost, he tells you which ones are his and where the key is, you pick one and tell him what you chose.

When you leave the Fort the return process is the same except all you have to do is tell him what time you are leaving the cart it at Reception Outpost.

I have rented from him 5 times and met him only once. He provides great service and his carts are well cared for.
