Help going to be at Disney during New Years!

Hi everyone,

My family and I have decided to go to Disney for New Years before dropping my sister off at college. We are leaving on Dec. 31 and we are a little concerned that we might not be able to get into the MK later that day because of how popular it is during the holidays and New Years. We are staying on property at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and I am hoping will work in us being able to get in the park. But I was wondering if anyone had any information that would help calm our nerves for if we would be able to get into the MK or not, and if it would be better to take the bus to ensure we are able to get in the park.

We went a few years ago during that week and it was the worst week ever of all the times we have been. Never again! It was sad because we took my sister, who had never been before, and brother with us and they had to deal with it, so they think that Disney is always a mess. We didn't have any problems getting in the parks, it was just way crowded. Good luck!

MK usually closes to capacity by 10am New Year's Eve.
