help getting from TTC to mk

We were onsite last week but are now at wbc. We will be driving to the MK tomorrow and want to be there for rope drop. I keep reading different advice. We are hoping to be at the TTC by 8. Do you think we will be close enough to walk from our car to the TTC? We have a double stroller..... Once there, will the boats and monorail be running or do they start running later? I'm confused!

For a 9am rope drop, 8am will be fine if you just want to be there for rope drop. You won't be alone though at this time, don't be surprised if you are among several hundreds, even thousands other folks arriving for rope drop.
Everything will be up and running, I believe the ferries/monorail start running at 7:30am (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
If you want to be at the front along the rope, you may want to consider arriving earlier.

The ferry and the Express Monorail officially open 30 minutes before park opening, which might not get you thru security in time for the Welcome Show (which starts 20 minutes before opening when the full show is presented.) But the ferries usually try to start up earlier.

The Resort Monorail starts at 7 a.m. every day (except when there are technical problems), which would be the way to get to MK earlier. It just takes a little longer than the Express Monorail, as it stops at Poly & GF on the way. On days when the Resort Monorail is having technical difficulties that delay opening, buses will take it's place starting shortly after 7 a.m.
